BMW added a new member to the family--the BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. The luxurious 4-door awards drivers with a little more power than the 650i and more sophisticated luxury features that the M6 Gran Coupe. BMW’s new Gran Coupe has a powerful 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that electrifies 540 hp and 540 lb.-ft. of torque. The Alpina B6 pins you to the back of the seat when it rockets from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The MSRP starts at $117,300.
Performance and Mechanical Specs
Pick your engine, any engine. The 3.0-liter turbo inline-6 expels 315 hp and 330 lb.-ft. of torque. The estimated fuel economy rating is 22/33 mpg RWD coupe, 20/29 mpg AWD coupe and convertible, and 20/30 mpg for the RWD convertible. Upgrading to the BMW 650i increases the power at your hands to 445 hp and 480 lb.-ft. of torque with the 4.4-liter turbocharged V8. The estimated fuel economy rating or the rear-wheel drive coupe and convertible is 17/25 mpg. The AWD coupe and convertible averages an estimated 16/24 mpg.
